Professor Paul Pimsleur spent his career researching and developing a method of teaching language that would mimic the way children learn: easily and rapidly. When he was teaching high-school students Hebrew, he wanted to experience what they were experiencing - learning a foreign language. That's when he discovered Simon and Schuster's Pimsleur audio programs... and learned the method.
